a thirty something photographer, designer, and dog enthusiast.

My name is Kari and I am a photographer and designer who’s all about capturing real moments, the kind you actually feel when you look back at them. I have a special love for photographing dogs (yes, I will absolutely stop mid-conversation to say hi to one) and I want to bring that same playful, patient energy into everything I photograph.

From lively events to everyday candid moments, my work focuses on authenticity over perfection. I have a knack for catching the in-between shots, the laughs, the quiet details, that often end up meaning the most. Whether it’s a packed celebration or a one-on-one session with a four-legged client, I try and make people (and their pets) feel comfortable enough to just be themselves.

When not shooting, you can find me outside chasing good light, fresh air, and new inspiration on a hike or kayaking on Pewaukee Lake. Loving the outdoors naturally finds its way back into my work, giving my images a warm, grounded feel.

Based in the Lake Country area, I am always chasing the light, genuine moments, and whenever possible, dogs with big personalities.
